What is kept
Reviewed 31 October 2026. Written for rainbuilders.com and for this villa. Not a template and not a copy of another.
Everything that is kept
Two values in the browser’s local storage, written by this site and by nothing else. This site sets no cookies whatever.
| Key | Written when | Value | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| rainbuilders_age_ok | The age card is answered | yes | So the card is shown once per device |
| rainbuilders_consent | The storage shelf is answered | granted or denied | So the shelf stays answered and the four signals follow it |
The first thing that runs
Every page sets Consent Mode v2 to denied for ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation and analytics storage, in the head, before anything else. That is where the page starts; nothing is being corrected after the fact, because nothing has run.
Were a tag ever added
Google Analytics 4 would write _ga and _ga_CONTAINER here, each for two years. Conversion tracking would contribute _gcl_au, which expires after ninety days. Neither exists here and neither would be written before Allow.
Changing your answer
What is kept, in the footer of any page, brings the shelf back. Choosing to keep it off stores denied and drops the four signals immediately.
Turning it off yourself
Any browser in current use can refuse storage site by site. Refusing it here breaks nothing: the age card is shown on each visit, which is correct and not a fault.
None of this is used
No social network pixel. No fingerprinting. No session recording. Both faces live in this site’s own folder, so no font request goes outside it. No content delivery network. A browser’s network panel shows every request going to this domain and nowhere else.
